The Only President to...

William H. Taft is the only president to finish third in his attempt to run for election to a second consecutive term.

He is the only former President of the United States to serve on the Supreme Court. As he was Cheif Justice, this also makes him the only former president to swear in a president.

Interesting William H. Taft Facts

As of 2008, Taft was the last United States President to have facial hair. He was also the heaviest ever to be elected (weighing in at approximately 300 pounds).
