Interesting George McClellan Facts

In 1955, George McClellan was assigned to the Cavalry. Using his experiences from his extensive travels in Europe, he designed a new riding saddle called "The McClellan Saddle". This saddle remained in use with little change until the end of the horse cavalry in the early 20th century.
